6. FLOSS-score

The FLOSS algorithm6 is an additional method designed to distinguish true coding from non-coding sequences based on the RPF-length distribution. The FLOSS algorithm provides a score based on the comparison between the RPF-length distribution in a given sORF and the RPF-length distribution found in canonical protein-coding/non-coding sequences.
